QPA AFFILIATION

You no longer have to have multiple memberships and multiple registrations.  Membership just needs to be with QPA and ponies are registered with one QPA affiliated registry OF YOUR CHOICE!! 

The NEW IQPA did not want to make the same mistake many other registries have made.  That mistake is to try to do everything with just a few people.  That is why the new IQPA signed an Alliance Agreement with the Quarter Pony Association.  We felt that even though we could handle the registration papers process with just a few people, we knew we needed help with all the other items called Membership Services. 

The Membership Services now handled by the QPA include:

Quarter Pony Information ~ Monthly Newsletters, Special Announcements, & Breed Specific Information

Points & Awards ~ Updating Points monthly, Issuing Awards, Announcing Award Winners

Governing Board & Officers  ~ Ensuring that all regions are represented in decisions

& Ensuring that all pony types are represented

Shows ~ Planning, Advertising, Sponsoring, Promoting, & Show Results

Tracking Population ~ List # of ponies, breeders, trainer, owners, etc. in each region

Judges ~ Certifying/Approving, Educating, Monitoring, & Posting Contact Information

Inspectors ~ Ensuring Inspectors are trained, Post Contact Information, & recruit inspectors where needed

Monitoring Registries ~ The QPA will also continue to monitor the registration and business process

of all affiliated registries.
