| Ghosty was purchased from one picture and a phone call in 1993, as a 2 year old. His sire, Alias King, is also the sire of legendary Hall of Fame Appaloosa, Dreamfinder. He has been bred primarily to POA mares, but has also produced a few ApHC foals out of ApHC and AQHA mares. Ghosty's foals are known for their loud color -- often with blankets, stockings, blazes, and/or blue eyes -- quiet dispositions and easy way of going that propels them to the top of pleasure classes. Some of Ghosty's top performing get include KS's Forever A Ghost, KS's Alias Cartego, and KS's Alias Royal King. His foals have also excelled in halter, including One Snappy Ghost, 2000 2 Year Old Gelding Futurity Champion, KS's Notorious Ghost, winner of the 2 Year Old Stallion halter class at both the 2001 International Show and Futuritity, and going on to earn his ROM(H), and Steeles The Show, International Champion Medium Gelding in 2003 and 2004. In 2004 one of Ghosty's sons, KS's Ghost N Chrome, was named Grand Champion Gelding at the International show. Since he is registered as an Appaloosa, Ghosty is not eligible to receive awards as a sire like his POA barnmates. However, he has proven himself as an outstanding sire of POAs, and we feel that his get will only continue to rack up wins and ROMs while continuing the tried and true tradition of easy-going POAs. | ||

| We purchased Boomer at the 2006 International POA Sale as a future sire for KS's Pony Farm to cross on the daughters of our other 4 stallions. While growing up, it's always fun to have educational field trips- or in Boomer's case, POA shows! Being young does not mean a lack of classes to show in, and in 2007 Boomer routinely showed in halter, yearling lungeline, and yearling in-hand trail. In only 6 weekends of shows Boomer placed 1st in lungeline in several club shows, stood Grand Champion Stallion 5 times, and earned 204 halter points. Against top ponies from across the country, Boomer was in the Top 10 at the 2007 International show in both halter and lungeline, and placed 6th in yearling colts at the 2007 International Futurity. We feel that Boomer has some of the very best bloodlines of the entire equine world, not just POAs. Sired by The Sudden Impulse, ApHC, who is by A Sudden Impulse, AQHA, and out of Zippos Supreme Bar, ApHC. Boomer's sire's lines go to The Investor, Zippo Pine Bar, Sonny Dee Bar, and Scotch Bar Time. Boomer's dam, Lattae Lady, POA, is sired by the legendary POA stallion St Niks Snowstorm, and out of the good small AQHA mare, MsAnnie Prescription. Lattae Lady traces to the best ApHC and AQHA foundation stallions such as Prince Plaudit, Easy Jet, Docs Prescription, Leo, Sugar Bars, and Doc Bar. When such great bloodlines come together in such an outstanding individual, we expect not only good things from Boomer in the show ring, but he should posess outstanding sire power. Boomer has a wonderful, quiet disposition, and a mischevious, inquisitive mind that makes him eager to learn new things. It is also a challenge to keep his mind occupied, and there has seldom been found a pony who loves his Jolly Ball more than Boomer! He seems to find it especially comical to throw it into adjoining stalls and 'bomb' his barnmates. He is a 10+ mover with a long, flat-kneed stride, but also has the athletic quickness of his cutting horse ancestors. Both traits he loves to show off when turned out- especially if he has an audience of either humans or other ponies across the fence! We expect Boomer to be the true all-around POA athlete he was bred to be, and excel in pleasure, trail, and halter. Boomer had a great 2008 show season, with some highlights including SE Regional Grand Champion Stallion, International Res. Champion in 2 year old colts, state show 1sts in pleasure and trail, Futurity Top 5 in halter, and #4 in the Nation in 2 year old halter stallions. Boomer also finished the year with a lifetime total of 449 halter points, 15 Grand Champion titles, and 1 reserve grand. We plan to show Boomer again in 2009 to finish up his ROM in halter, and know he will also be a tough competitor in the JPFC pleasure classes with the mental and physical maturity he has gained over the winter. With his athletic prowess, reining is not out of the question, either! Boomer will be standing to a limited open book of approved mares. | ||

169 Updated 2/3/2009 |
Color: Chestnut POA |
|
| Dash was born in 1990, and was shown to his first big win in the Tulsa State Fair POA Weanling Colt class at just 5 months of age. He continued to show in halter and earned his ROM(H) before being started under saddle as a two year old and shown in the 19 & Over Junior Pony Futurity Classic by Todd Corn of Indiana. Dash was never shown by a youth due to lack of a rider, so he did not have a chance to earn the prestigious Supreme Championship like his sire, grandsire, and great-grandsire. This does not stop him from being an excellent pleasure horse, or siring outstanding all around ponies. He has also been proven as a color sire, producing colored foals even from AQHA mares, earning his Proven Producer award in 1999 as the sire of over 15 colored foals. Dash has sired KS's Dashing Illusion, a World Champion in Halter and performance, KS's Dash Of Ellegance, ROM(H), KS's Cool Blue Dash, Reserve Classic Champion, and the #4 yearling colt in the nation for 2005, KS's Isn't He Dashing, 2005 top 5 placer at the International and Futurities, KS's Sonny Dee Dash, 2005 top 10 JPFC 3&4 year old western pleasure futurity, and many other great ponies. Dash may even be the sire of your next show champion! | ||

Color: Chestnut POA |

| Nifty was born in 1991, one of only three colts produced by his dam. It was obvious from the beginning that this loud colt was going to be special with his soft lope and cute head. In the only show he attended as a yearling, the Southeast Regional, he won his class against colts that have gone on to be outstanding youth geldings and herd sires. Nifty was ridden in the 19 & Over Junior Pony Futurity Classic by Lynette Boone of Indiana, placing well, and earned the prestigious National High Point 3 Year Old Stallion in 1994. Retirement from the show arena suits him just fine, and he enjoys his life of leisure as a sire on the farm. Nifty is producing foals with small, refined heads and ears, and a soft, flowing lope as well as passing on his easy-going attitude. Bred to a limited number of mares each year, Nifty qualified for his Proven Producer award in 2002 with the arrival of his 15th colored foal. Ponies that call Nifty dad are just beginning to make their mark on the show world, including KS's Ima Nifty Date, ROM(H), and KS's Justa Tad Nifty, ROM(H). | ||

| Jammer was born in 2000 here at KS's Pony Farm, but was sold to the Astin family from Georgia when he was just a few days old. In 2001 with Charlene Astin at his lead, he was undefeated in yearling colts at the Southeast, Mideast, and Northeast Regionals. Jammer continued to be shown in halter as a two and three year old, garnering a total of 16 grand championships, 4 reserves, and earning his ROM(H) at the last show he attended in 2003. In 2004, we were excited when circumstances allowed us to bring Jammer back home. In addition to his halter accomplishments, Jammer is also an outstanding riding pony. With soft, slow movement in pleasure and the athleticism for reining and games, he is the true versatile POA. While only bred to a few mares each year, this young stallion is already beginning to make his mark as a sire. At the 2005 International, three of his get were shown. Ima Cool Jammin Coosa was Reserve Champion 2 year old gelding, also placing in 2 year old lead-in trail and most colorful geldings. Jammins Pretty Miss was 3rd in yearling lead-in trail, and Ima Cool Jammin Skip was the International Champion weanling colt. Jammer's foals have his quality conformation and athletic ability, and we are looking forward to seeing his foals continue to win in the show ring for years to come. Jammer is by Alias Ghost King, ApHC, and out of KS's Sheza Boogie Twist, Proven Producer, and we are proud to stand him at KS's Pony Farm. | ||

could go any direction. But we are planning to pursue the dressage path with

POA Updated 1/10 |

| Bouncer is the poster child for POA (literally – he represented the POA breed on a poster designed by AHA). His size, conformation, movement, color and quiet temperament are perfection. He has seven World Championships (Halter, Color, Longe-Line, Western Pleasure), he is an International Champion, English Derby Champion, Western Pleasure Futurity Champion, and he was the #1 stallion in the Nation as a three year old. None of this is surprising, as he comes from a family of Champions and Hall of Fame inductees. Bouncer has movement to rival any Pleasure Horse, he spent a few weeks learning to jump at a prestigious Warmblood facility where he quickly became the barn favorite – everyone wanted to ride the “little Appaloosa stallion”. His trainer described him as “brave” and “willing” and said he jumped anything he was pointed at, but especially praised his hunter type form. Bouncer’s outstanding quality is passed to his foals: from a very limited lifetime crop, EVERY foal who has been shown has won Championships on at least the State level, most at the Regional and Classic level and even the International level. Bouncer’s get are correct, very pretty, and his color percentage is a very high 97%. He has had only one true solid colt, a gorgeous deep bay, who recently sold as a 4 year-old hunter/ jumper prospect for $15,000. Bouncer sires quality first, with color as a bonus. Please visit our website to see Bouncer, read his show record, view some of Bouncer’s foals, and to see our high quality broodmares – every one a Champion. We usually have 1 to 3 foals available each year. Breedings available January 1 thru May 31. | ||

Color Me Fancy is a 13.2 Sorrel Overo Sabino stallion, who consistently produces good minded babies who take easily to training and become lifelong family partners. His foals mature consistently to the 13.2 hand mark. They also have lovely heads, and while the Overo pattern does not always reproduce, the majority of his foals have lots of chrome. He is good natured enough to run with the entire herd, including mares, babies, geldings and other studs for the majority of the year and only gets separated so we can decide who gets bred when! He is never rough with mares and while we do the majority of our breeding in the pasture, we can hand mate when needed. He has not been shown due to our lack of time, no fault of his. |

| Notes: Rocky is an 11 yr old bay pinto registered American Shetland pony stallion who stands 11' 2 and is one of a kind. He is handled daily by my 6 yr old daughter who rides him as well. Only owning him since the summer of last year we are still trying to find out what Rocky has accomplished in his life. We are sure it is a long record. We had bought Rocky with intentions to geld him for a real flashy pony for my daughter to show, but once her trainer saw Rocky she talked me out of gelding him, due to the fact that he is drop dead gorgeous. With all the right moves and attitude you are sure to step into the winners circle with his offspring | ||

| At Moon Ridge Farm, our
program focuses on Sec B Welsh and Welsh Cross ponies. Vital to our large
welsh cross pony program is multiple reserve champion, Sec A stallion,
Lochinvar Donatello. At 11.3 hands, he is an ideal cross on non-welsh mares
such as thoroughbreds, appendix, and paints in the 14.3 to 15.3 hand range
to produce medium to large hunter, jumper, dressage or driving prospects
that are fancy yet athletic. Free Spirit Tenby Wills is the foundation stallion for our Sec B program. His breeding consists of double injections of Cusop Sheriff, Criban Victor and Farnley Sunlight within the first five generations. Born in 2004, he is black, turning grey. He will be an excellent cross on true to type Sec B mares and small non-welsh mares. |

multi-champion stallion, *Bengad Lynden (Bengad Cockscombe x Bengad Lacecap)
and by multi-champion mare, Lochinvar Prima Donna (West Abby Robin Hood x
Lochinvar Pandora). Looking deeper into his pedigree, there are numerous
crosses back to Bowdler Brightlight, Coed Coch Madog, Dyoll Starlight,
Bowdler Blue Boy and Coed Coch Glyndwr. These ponies were influential on the
Sec B and half-welsh hunter/jumper sires of today such as Blue Rain,
Carolinas Red Fox and Sleight of Hand. More important then his show record or impressive pedigree is his relationship with our children. He is eager for their company and always patient with their riding abilities. His pedigree, conformation, intelligence, trainability and gentleness with children are virtues to versatility, making him an excellent choice to produce hunter/jumper, dressage, driving, and cross-country event ponies. |

| Flaxen-maned sorrel, this horse is one of the kindest horses God ever made. He is very smooth to ride - you can relax your legs, ride his trot to almost an extended trot without any bump in your butt; he travels very low & flat. He loves people and begs attention. His foals are born loving people. He is 14hh, 975 lbs - the perfect cross to 13-13.2hh mares for quarter ponies, also crosses very well to big boned, 15-15.2hh mares. He is a very well bred grandson of Peponita, great-grandson to Bueno Chex on the bottom side. An excellent trail horse. Private Treaty to pony mares. | ||

Travis is out of a grade palomino Shetland pony mare. He produces foals that have color, conformation and size. His foals have had good size as most are taller than their dams. Travis stands 12.3 and is a 50/50 sorrel overo stallion. Travis is bred to run, as his sire is a running Paint and has been on the track. His great grandsire was a futurity winning Running Paint stallion, Slow Danger.
100% color producer to date, all of his foals have been medicine hats out of maiden and solid mares. |

Countrys Next Big Thing, a.k.a. Ty, is a beautiful two year old, buckskin Shetland pony stallion. As a yearling he was only shown at two shows, and placed first in two yr old and under Shetland stallions, and three firsts at a ASPC show under all three judges, both days in a row! He has been started on driving and is doing great! Ty has beautiful manners for a stallion, no biting, kicking, clips very well( no twitch needed at all), etc, and as a plus he knows a couple tricks as well. Ty will be standing stud, starting next summer, due to show season, and having a full book for this year. I have quite a few people interested in breeding to him, so please email me if you are interested. *UPDATE*** In 2007, I took Ty to the area IV nationals and he received first in the 2yr. old classic stallion halter futurity, and also a first in the 2yr. old classic stallion over class. At the National Congress show, he received fourth in the futurity for 2yr. old classic stallions, and that was his only class. He is a beautiful driving pony and had won many classes the past two years in his driving entries. |

If you are looking to raise that hard to find larger pony size with color, excellent disposition/ temperament, and ability, look no further. Ghost of Reflection, "Ghost", IQPA Reg. # 32201201P is a 13hh Quarter Pony registered with the International Quarter Pony Association. ( He is also a grade POA. Was never registered due to the lack of breeder- long story. ) He is out of a Champion POA stallion and if he had been in the right hands, Ghost is quality enough to have done well on the POA show circuit, his foals included. Regardless, all of Ghost's foals can be registered IQPA ( as long as they are not out of a gaited mare ). Ghost is a few spot leopard appaloosa, so he produces 100% appaloosa foals on any colored mare. His foals are flashy, well built, conformationally correct, excellent dispositions, very trainable minds, athletic, and have that great larger pony size. They have gone on to excel in english, western, and driving disciplines as well as many family mounts. Breeding Fee: $250 live cover only; Mare Care: $3 per day ( paddock ), $4 per day ( stalled ). Quality mare care in a safe environment. We will take any size mare up to 15hh. ( We say that because we want to keep the foal in the pony height range. ) He has also been an excellent cross on smaller mares: minis, Shetlands, etc. to produce medium size ponies. For more information and pictures of Ghost and some of his offspring, Thank you and God Bless! |
